My Project
Biographies are such a fun way for students to learn about those who have come before us and made a difference in our world. They give students a glimpse into the lives of change-makers, shows the struggles they have endured, and also how they have overcome them through perseverance, grit, and determination.
I want my students to choose a biography of an important person in history and create a report. As first graders it is hard to see what other people have done in the world that has made a difference in the world. Students can read the book in groups and pick out important things they've learned from the biography to report back to the class.
