My Project

This year, we started hosting a monthly book swap. Thanks to #Booktok on Tiktok, students are obsessed with building their own personal libraries. Therefore, our event has become more of a monthly pop-up book shop, rather than a swap. Comments like, "I never thought I'd be one of those people who like to read," and "I loved this book so much, I don't think I could part with it," make it worth it, so we don't mind having to find new books to give away each month.

Our March swap will celebrate biographies and nonfiction titles we think will show them they're not alone or will broaden their perspectives about life, the world, and themselves.

These donated titles will get their own special display. We're excited as our other monthly themes all highlight literary titles. We believe in the power of a good memoir and appreciate your support and consideration of our project. Thank you!
