Each year, I am blessed with an amazing group of children, who I learn from daily. They come in each morning with so much to share with the class and me. They are full of life and want to share that with everyone around them. At the beginning of the school year, my students enter second grade as shy first graders. However, when they leave for third grade they are strong, confident, and determined. Being part of this process is what makes teaching so beautiful.
My Project
The large bins requested will be used to keep all of our center materials in order. On Friday, we have 5 different centers running at time. It is often hard to set these all up by myself. Having the items already in bins and organized allows students to navigate through the centers quicker. It also helps them to clean up the materials faster and organized as well. The smaller bins will be used for word study groups. These bins house all of the students folders in one safe secure place. It also makes transitions faster because all of the materials for each group are in one place.
