Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
I have an energetic group of students who get to school every day full of life, ready to learn, and excited for what is in store for them that day. I teach at a Title I school where the majority of our students receive free breakfast and lunch.
My students are eager to learn and try their best.
I am hoping to provide my students with what they need most! I want to make sure my students have equal access to everything they need to be successful!
My Project
Our school goal is to make all of our students feel like writers. What better way to feel like a writer than by having their works published and bound! The purpose of these books is to make learning meaningful, to get students excited about writing, so they can "publish" their final draft. These hand-crafted books will be used to promote a deeper understanding of skills through real-world applications.
With your donation, the possibilities are endless.
My students will be able to make books that show off their skills and abilities. They will be able to walk away with a variety of books that they can be proud of and treasure for years to come.
