My Project
The use of a binding machine is is a tool that can be used all year round. When teaching students with special needs is important to remember that each lesson taught needs to be individualized to meet the need of each student. A binding machine would allow me to create and bind books that can be used both inside and outside of the classroom for continues practice. For example in ELA the binding machine would allow me to create books to help students learn their alphabet as well as to aid students in expanding their reading skills in order to blend words.
The donations to this project will allow me to create individualized useable books to travel between school and home for each of my students.
Creating individualized books based on the students need would be a huge academic aid in not only ELA but Mathematics, Social Studies, and Science as well.
