Binders, They Trap Information that You Keep for Life
Help me give my students the tools needed to stay organized (dividers, 3 Ring Binders, resources from teachers pay teachers) in this crazy school year.
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
We are the largest public Montessori school in Texas. Students flourish in multi-aged level classrooms where the teacher simply facilities in their learning. We believe that students should learn through their own interest and experiences. Ninety-seven percent of our student body receives free or reduced lunches with a high number of them being English Language Learners.
Following the teaching of Maria Montessori, our teachers work daily preparing our students to take on the world around them with grace and courtesy.
Unfortunately, this style of teaching and learning comes a huge expense to the teacher and parents. Providing students with a means to become organized self-motivated individuals is something I take very seriously and I need all the help I can get.
I am seeking donors who choose to help me make this organized somewhat normal school year wish come true for my students. They truly deserve it!
My Project
Binders are a tool that I have trained my students to use to help review their past and prepare for the future. I teach my students to study and organize in preparation for middle school, high school, college and careers. These important items have also been chosen to be omitted from our school supply list due to tighter budgets during Covid-19 lay offs. Your help will allow my students to stay prepared, organized and leaning during this already difficult 20-21 school year.
I plan to ensure that each of my students has the supplies needed to be successful whether they will be in class face-to-face each day or learning through technology at home.
I plan on delivering a prepared binder to home learners front doors along with all needed print outs for support in their at home learning.
