My students need these binders to be successful in class. These will keep them organized and replace the ones that I have had in my classroom for five years, that are falling apart.
This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
I am a special education teacher and I always try to find ways to make learning fun and adapted to make every student succeed. This is my 18th year teaching and I am having the best year so far!
I have a positive outlook for all of my classes success.
My students are like my own kids and I do all I can to help, but that stops at finances. I am unable to provide everything for my classes even thou I would love to since many of their families are not able to or do not support education.
My Project
My students are in the inner city, and most families can not afford supplies or just do not support or value education. This should not stop my kids from being successful. These binders seem simple but they are the basis of my class. Every assignment we do are kept in here to keep the students organized and on task. These two skills are number one in education and just about every career imaginable. This simple thing will help support all of my students reach their goals this school year. I try to keep things minimal but useful.
