This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I want to teach my students on the autism spectrum to be organized and responsible for their work at their rotational centers both for Math and Language Arts. I need to organize their work in label personal binders so they can learn to be independent by picking up their work binder and taking it to their seats. We need binders and sheet protectors.
Independence is a social skill that that I teach as I want my students to flourish and eventually exit the special ed classroom setting and be able to attend a general ed class.
