it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are bright, curious, and eager to succeed. They come from diverse backgrounds and bring a wide range of experiences to the classroom. Many of them face challenges outside of school that can make it difficult to come to class prepared with basic supplies. Despite those challenges, they show up every day wanting to learn, and I want to support them with the tools they need to stay organized and confident in their learning.
Many of my students are not able to purchase supplies on their own.
This project will provide my students with sturdy 3-ring binders and binder dividers with pockets to help them stay organized across ALL their subjects. Organization is a key part of academic success, and binders make it easier for students to keep track of notes, assignments, handouts, and important deadlines.
By providing binders and dividers for everyone who needs them, I can ensure that all students have the same opportunity to start the year strong and stay on track. These materials will not only help them keep their work in order but also teach valuable life skills like responsibility, time management, and preparation.
