it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students come from different types of backgrounds. Many of my students are the first generation who attend high school and desire an opportunity to improve their family and community. My students are creative, thoughtful, and full of questions! They absolutely love hands-on, active, engaging projects, and challenges that allow them to think outside the box to find solutions! They come to school each day ready to try new things and take brave chances to grow both personally and academically. Honestly, they are my inspiration!
My Project
I have decided to implement a binder system again in my science ( chemistry, biology, and physics) classes. Students will get different notes, worksheets, lab handouts, graphs, and evidence-based arguments essays, etc. Therefore, I decide to use the Old School style system (binder system to help my students organize their materials. This approach will also cultivate students organizing habits. To successfully implement this system, I need to make sure each student has a binder, divider tabs, and plenty of lined paper. I do not need quite as many binders this year since I have several dozen that I can reuse.
Students will use their binders everyday to take notes, complete assignments, and review for assessments.
They will be responsible for keeping their binder organized and presentable.
