This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are diverse, enthusiastic, and excited to start the new school year! Our school is a Title 1 school with over 85% of students coming from low-income families. I teach an incredibly diverse student body, and they love learning new things in our class! Students at my school are inquisitive, compassionate, and creative. One of our important goals this year, is to help our students learn stronger organizational skills before they head off to high school.
Our mixed population of special needs, general education, and English language learner students will use the cubbies and bins to keep their binders in a secure and organized location.
Having a storage space for their binders will help prevent students from losing important materials, help keep them organized, and will lessen the amount of books they have to carry home and between classes each day.
