This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My school is a Title I public school located in inner-city Los Angeles. Many of my students come from low-income families and do not have regular access to books, supplies, or even regular homework support. They depend on teachers and school staff for support.
They are eager and enthusiastic students who come to school with hope and a positive attitude every day.
I strive to provide them with an inviting learning environment.
My Project
With your help, I want to provide the basic school supplies that are needed in order to organize our different language arts activities for my students.
They can focus learning and improving their skills because they will have everything in one place.
It will save them time and keep them on track. This organization tool will assist students to keep their fluency passages, word study pages, grammar skills, reading annotations & charts all in place. Students will not have to worry about having multiple notebooks for different purposes and/or misplacing any of them.
Nearly all students from low‑income households
