Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Students will be given opportunities to grapple with and make sense of their learning through math tasks. Having an organized way to record their thinking and look back at their progress will support thier growing confindence.

Three ring binders, stored in the math classroom will offer an equal opportunity for all students to be prepared for class.

This storage system helps students stay organized and helps the teacher distribute supplies to students binders in case of an absence.

Student take joy decorating the exterior of their binder, show casing their individuality with mathematics inspired art. Inside their binder they can look back on thier learning to prepare for exams and see the progress they have made.
