My Project

My coding students need a new project for exploring how computers use binary codes to send different messages and commands. The boards and beads are a way for students to create their own messages and make a piece of art at the same time. This is a fun way to learn more about computer science.

My students are in a summer program to learn more about coding computers.

They are curious and energentic. They are also young enought that a whole hour on the computer is a little bit too much. These art activities allow me to break up their class into managable pieces.
