My Students

All of my students are from First and Second-grade Dual Language Classrooms, they speak Spanish as their first language. In their classrooms, they receive half their education in their native language and the other half in English.

My students are working hard to catch up with their peers, they are learning how to read successfully but are still in need of support.

They receive intervention for remediation purposes and they are developing strategies for proper reading and deeper reading comprehension.

My Project

Spanish Books, for my native Spanish speakers, many of my students do not have access to books at home and these additional titles will give them more excitement while developing their love of reading.

I motivate my students to read in their language and to increase reading ability, I encourage them to read more; these books will continue to help my students grow stronger in their development.

My goal is to help them realize that they can be successful and can achieve greatness a day at a time.
