Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Help me restock on some of the essential items in my classroom like incentives that I use for my classroom management that I use financial literacy for. The school/play money helps them visually see the money they are earning and the incentives they can buy with it. These incentives and using realistic money helps them learn how to make change and the difference between needs and wants.
Help my readers by allowing new cultural books into our library and by also adding more Spanish and bilingual books for my English Language learners.
I want them to also enjoy reading in their native language too. These books will enhance our classroom library diversity.
Lastly, this laptop will help me at home with being able to plan on the weekends for successful teaching and learning. This will be beneficial for my students to enjoy a more interactive and meaningful lesson where they use all their skills to grow academically.
