This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
These books will help my students to self-regulate, to identify their emotions. The books will help me to teach these emotions explicitly through whole group reading and modeling. These books are great bilingual for my little young learners who are or will be mostly Spanish speaking but will also help my bilingual learners. My goal for this project is to help the youngest of my students to identify their feelings and to validate their emotions, Preschoolers are so young and have a hard time expressing their thoughts and emotions and with these books I can explicitly teach these feeling and what they can do to effectively communicate and express themselves in a more positive manner.
