it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students come from diverse backgrounds with a common goal of learning Spanish in our classroom. For some of my students, Spanish is either their first, second or third language! This unique and diverse educational setting requires hands on activities, engaging lessons and visual representation of concepts. These materials will provide access to math content in Spanish. The books will also supplement lessons that require students to think about math in the world that we experience on a daily basis. These tools will help reach students at all Spanish language skill levels.
