This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

My students need Bilingual manipulative's, word work, puzzles, CVC practice, and additional activities to build their literacy skills. My Students My project is to support learning and make it exciting, fun, and hands-on. Learning is so much more fun when you are having fun.

My students come from a very high poverty neighborhood in which 85% of them are on free or reduced lunch.

Kindergarten is the first year that most of these children are coming to school, so it is important to me that I make learning very fun and exciting.

My Project

My students need hands-on, tactile support that I can give them by using manipulatives, such as tactile writing, puzzles, snapping letter tiles, and more. I want my students to have the hands-on/visual learning that they need and deserve. My students thrive on the hands-on approach, and I believe it is key to their learning.

When children are enjoying what they are doing, they are more engaged.

When they are more engaged, their learning is deeper. With your help and generosity, you can help build my students to become stronger learners and enjoy school.
