This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students come to school ready to learn. I like to receive them into a classroom that is inspiring, welcoming, and stimulating. Most have limited access to technology at home. In addition, most students are learning Spanish as a second language.

My students will use the headphones to listen to stories, text to speech questions, and to also interact with text online.

They will help to build fluency skills including proper phrasing and expression, improve sight word recognition, and build comprehension. They will also allow students to hear the tone and pace of a skillful reader. These essential tools will revolutionize the way they learn, improving students' listening and speaking abilities, and enabling them to reach their full potentials.
