This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

As an educator, I recognize the valuable role that literature plays in shaping young minds and fostering a love for learning. I also understand the importance of representation and inclusivity in the materials we provide to our diverse student body; therefore I am trying to expand my classroom book sets. I know students in my dual class would be able to relate to this book since we live in the Central Valley of California. Students will be able to have a copy of their own as we read which will be useful while working through each lesson of the book. Yet I truly need your support to make this a reality. Thanks!
