This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
In this project, I included bilingual books and books that represent Chinese/Asian cultures because the class I teach is a dual language class in English and Mandarin.
Learning about a different culture and the language will open more doors of opportunities for students.
I will use these books during our Target Language Development time. I will share-read the books and explain the details and vocabulary involved. These books are colorful, easy to read, and fun. It would be great if students can learn about the culture of their family and their friends.
