Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I will be using these bilingual, Spanish, and authentic texts in my school library where my students (500+ in the school) will have daily access to checking them out and taking them home.
These books are vital to my school because they reflect the bilingual and multicultural backgrounds/experiences of my students, giving them a way to more easily connect and feel impacted by what they are reading.
This will encourage literary growth and joy, even beyond the classroom!
