Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
In my classroom, students are able to have a free reading time. Students can pick any book they would like from the classroom library and sit to read. This year, I received many more newcomers to the country than normal and sadly, my library lacks many popular spanish titles that hold their interest. These students deserve to participate in high interest grade-level reading and so I hope through this project I can provide them this. With the variety of genre books in my project, I hope to pique their interest.
