Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

Kindergarten is full of imagination, play, and curiosity.

This is an amazing group of kindergarten students working through COVID-19 restrictions and dealing with all of the challenges of e-learning.

Many students live in an apartment so outdoor space is limited. So far two balance bikes were donated to our classroom and they have expressed how much they really want a bike. To help make their dreams come true, please donate so these kinders can learn how to ride a bike.

There are many nearby parks to scoot to or even if it's a trip to the laundromat, they can hop on and get there.

My Project

Students have been at home learning from a computer. We do take movement breaks and incorporate movement into lessons but offering bikes will give students a reason to get outside and get moving.

Options for play and exercise are limited during COVID but a bike is the perfect solution to get to the park, get to the store or get going anywhere.

Many students do not have a bike so this will be their first experience learning how to ride.

Please help surprise and delight my students with the gift of a bike.
