Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students come from a lower economic status and for many of them it is their first time in a classroom setting. My students are eager to learn and enjoy what school has to offer them. At this age, 4 and 5 years old, they love to be active and use their bodies. They are also developing their coordination skills and social skills.

My students are English learners that crave new experiences and are always willing to participate in any activities I can offer them.

My Project

By supporting our project, it will help my students to develop motor, social, and critical thinking skills that will further support their learning in the classroom.

Providing bikes for my students will give them the experience that all children deserve at this age.

Supporting this project will allow them to develop important skills, while also having fun!

I want to encourage my students to come to school everyday and be ready to learn but also have fun. My goal is for all of my students to fall in love with learning by providing them with experiences and opportunities that they may not have outside of the classroom.
