This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are always ready to learn new things. Their bright faces are full of excitement when they feel accomplished in learning something new. My students are growing up in what many people call a rough neighborhood, but this does not mean that they do not deserve an awesome education and that I expect less of them. They are great kids who are eager to learn. They come ready to give it their all and be the best they can be.
This laptop will make taking assessments much easier and fun at the same time.
Right now, students have to take assessments on small screened devices. It is hard for them to stay focused and try their best. With this laptop, students will be excited to use "a big person computer". This may help them focus better on an assessment because it's easier to see. Also, the laptop will be used as a reward. Students can earn time to "play" on learning sights geared for their age group.
