Big Tiles for Little Learners!

Help me give my students Lakeshore Jumbo Magnetic Building Tiles so my students can connect The Engineering Design Process to build, create and problem solve during their STEM time in our classroom.

My Project

Our school is unique because of our diverse staff and student body. Our school district can best be described as one happy family. Thirty-three languages are spoken throughout the district. My students are special because they are immersed in an environment where we teach them academics and how to embrace the diverse student body. Learning is happening all over our school. In the classroom students are learning required content, however, outside the classroom, our students enjoy art, music, PE, and now, STEM classes. Our students have opportunities to visit the local zoo and other places in our community, which will inspire them to learn more about the world they live in.

Our school is committed to properly introducing STEM and The Engineer Design Process to our young students, and proper resources are needed to make this happen.

These jumbo tiles will be used school wide to so all students at our school can have the opportunity to plan, design, and problem solve during STEM time. I have a vision to use these resources during our STEM Night at school so our parents will see how our young students are learning STEM with age appripiate resources. I hope to encourage parents to build STEM skills at home so our students can learn to appreciate STEM education , and become the next great inventor of something amazing in the future.
