Big Screen, Big Ideas: A Projector for Our Cafeteria

My Project

Our elementary school is a place full of energy, ideas, and imagination. We hold regular assemblies in our school cafeteria where students present projects, watch educational videos, and participate in school-wide learning experiences. But we currently don’t have a reliable projector that can handle the size, lighting, and needs of our school community.

That’s why we’re requesting this projector.

This projector will allow us to clearly display videos, presentations, and live student performances during assemblies, family events, and classroom lessons that involve large groups.

In addition to school assemblies and academic presentations, this projector will allow us to spotlight the visual arts in powerful new ways. From digital student art galleries to class-created animations and multimedia storytelling projects, our students will see their creative work come to life on the big screen. This visibility helps foster a sense of pride, encourages artistic expression, and ensures that all learners — especially visual and creative thinkers — feel seen and celebrated. Whether it’s showcasing a second-grade self-portrait project or a collaborative mural-in-progress, the projector will turn our cafeteria into a dynamic, inclusive space for the arts.

This projector will support school-wide communication, student confidence through public speaking, and deeper engagement through visual learning. Whether we're showing a science documentary, spotlighting student art, or connecting with other schools virtually, this projector will make our shared experiences brighter — literally and figuratively.
