Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

I work in a CTT classroom. That stands for collaborative team teaching. It means that I work with another teacher. Together, we teach 40% special education students and 60% general education students. My co-teacher and I work hard to make our lessons a motivating and hands-on experience. To motivate the children in science we have developed a beginner ecosystem in our room. We have purchased various fish, plants and tadpoles. The children are responsible for feeding and caring for this ecosystem. They have even named each animal in the tank :) They have learned so much about how these animals and plants live together. The problem we are experiencing is the cost of filters, rock vacuums and living plants have become costly. We would love some help with keeping this wonderful project going. Big Poppa the fish needs your help :)
