This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students are scientists. My students are mathematicians. My students are readers. My students are authors. My students are explorers. My students make discoveries each and every day.
Our Science Academy provides our students with a fast-paced and rigorous STEM curriculum.
It is our mission to provide our students with a challenging and inquiry-based STEM curriculum to maximize individual potential and ensure that our students succeed in a global community. Our goal is to expose students to as many learning opportunities that will prepare them for the future as possible, all while bringing to the forefront ideas and concepts that they may not have considered before.
My Project
My project will be used to help students grow their social-emotional skills! After being virtual for much of the last year, we have found that skills such as regulation, age-appropriate interactions, and positive self-talk have all been underdeveloped.
Students are struggling with returning to a classroom with other students and the anxiety that comes with that as well.
These materials will help support our students so we can reestablish those skills and get them back to being happy and healthy my Gators who are learning and growing just as they should!
