My students begin the year excited and nervous about their first school experience.
These children are eager to learn new things. The smallest things that we, as adults take for granted, can make their day!
Watching my students, who begin the school year without the ability to read, transform before my eyes into readers and writers is the most amazing sight. These little learners are eager to soak up all the information they can. They also love technology. Being able to practice skills with an iPad mini will allow me to meet the needs of my students.
My Project
I am requesting an iPad mini to help reinforce reading, writing, and math skills. The iPad mini applications will help with letter and sound recognition, reading, writing, counting skills, addition, subtraction, letter/number writing, science and social studies research and much more. The iPad Mini will also help my students learn how to use technology. An iPad Mini will provide a much richer learning environment and aid many students for years to come. The case we are requesting will keep our new technology safe for students to continue to use in our classroom.
I want to provide my students with as many enriching opportunities as possible.
