Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I love how curious, creative, and eager my first graders are to learn! My students are special because they bring their own unique personalities, ideas, and excitement into the classroom each day. I want to create a classroom where every student feels welcomed, supported, and excited to learn. These resources will give my students opportunities to explore, create, and learn in ways that make lessons engaging and meaningful.

The books on my list will help build strong literacy skills and encourage a love of reading, while art supplies will allow students to express their creativity and strengthen fine-motor skills.

Hands-on learning materials will help make challenging concepts easier to understand by allowing students to learn through doing and exploring. Teacher and classroom essentials will also help me create an organized, comfortable learning environment where students can focus and become more independent.

My goal for this project is to provide my first graders with the tools they need to learn, grow, and feel confident in the classroom. With these resources, I hope to make learning more engaging, encourage creativity and independence, and help each student see themselves as a capable and successful learner.
