This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I love how curious, kind, and full of big feelings my Pre-K students are. Every day, they’re learning how to express themselves, work together, and understand the world around them, one emotion at a time.
The SEL kit will give us fun and meaningful ways to talk about feelings, practice kindness, and build strong classroom friendships.
The child-safe mirror will help my little learners recognize their own emotions and better understand how others feel. And the sensory tools will give them calming strategies they can use when they feel overwhelmed or need help focusing.
These resources will help create a safe, supportive space where every child can grow emotionally and socially setting them up for a lifetime of learning and connection.
