My Project
Social emotional books play a vital role in our preschool classroom by helping young children understand and express their feelings in healthy ways. These stories teach important skills like empathy, kindness, self-regulation, and friendship through relatable characters and situations. By reading books that explore emotions and social situations, children learn how to manage conflicts, build relationships, and recognize their own feelings and those of others. These books create meaningful opportunities for discussion, role-playing, and connection, all of which support a positive classroom environment and lay the foundation for lifelong emotional well-being.
