My Project
My students are a truly kind and caring group of kids. They are wonderful at taking care of each other and being a friend to one another.
As amazing as they are at being empathetic human beings, they have a difficult time recognizing how they themselves are feeling.
My goal for this project, is to help my students learn to love and care for themselves as much as they love and care for each other.
The "A Little Spot" book series would be perfect to help achieve this goal. It is just the right level for my students to help them connect with their feelings, which is as important as being connected to the feelings of those around them.
