My Students
All of my students are online students. They have had the best attitude despite the crazy circumstances that the last two years have given them. They have found ways to shine their light for each of their classmates.
Even though we are far apart, we are together.
My students are supportive of each other, they help each other, and lift each other. When someone is absent, it is definitely felt.
We were able to go on a field trip recently, where we met at a museum. Two of the girls ran up to each other and hugged. One of the girls said, "I finally get to meet my best friend in person!" They are enthusiastic learners who try their best each day.
My Project
These materials will allow my online students to integrate science and art projects while they learn at home. The science flasks will make them feel like real scientists when they mix different materials in their study of matter. With pipe cleaners and Kool-Aid, they will be able to grow their own crystals. The terrarium kits will not only deepen their understanding of ecosystems, but will also help them understand their part here on Planet Earth.
