Preschool is an important time in a child's life. It is their first introduction to formal schooling and lays a foundation for life long learning. At our preschool we work with some of the most unique students. Some of our students are on the spectrum, others have hearing and communication impairments, while still others have physical disabilities that prevent them from completing daily life skills such as walking or self feeding.
No matter what our students ability level is, we want them to feel wanted, loved and accepted in our preschool.
Starting the year off with a water bottle for every student lets them know they are cared about. A personalized sash to wear on their birthday along with a small stuff animal make our students feel special. Having small presents from teacher and aides for holidays makes our students feel included. Lastly, having graduation books and sashes lets our students moving on to kindergarten celebrate their achievement with friends and family.
