Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

We have hundreds of students enrolled at our school, and 100% qualify for the free lunch program.

Now more than ever, our prekindergarten students need BIG books that they can read or have read to them as they are learning about literacy.

Pre-K students are just beginning to know what books are and how to use them. Having big books with big pictures helps to foster a love of books for these students. Having big books also helps the students to be able to see the words as the teacher is reading and modeling fluency for students.

Please help me to provide Big books for our school library because we don't have ANY!
