This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I have a brand-new classroom this year and one thing I am missing is a teacher easel for instruction and for reading big books. The easel I have chosen is multipurpose because it includes storage, a stand for big books, and a magnetic, dry-erase front.

This easel and these books will help promote class discussions, leading to deeper learning during our morning and afternoon meetings.

My students are very young, and it helps them to have visual support during lessons. I will use the easel not only to read books, but also to write messages to my students and to write down their ideas. Students will be able to use the magnetic surface during center time to play and explore. Thank you for donating to our classroom!
