My students need a Big Book Easel in their classroom, so that I can read and display the Big Book to them at the same time.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
I'm a Kindergarten Teacher to 19 students. These students are in a full day program from 7:35-1:45. Since school just started for them on 8/31, a typical day for me right now is routines, routines, routines! The daily schedule, how to line up, how to walk in a line, etc.
My students live in one of the poorest cities in the country.
The majority of them are ELLs (English Language Learners). I have 7/19 who have never been in school before. They do not know how to properly hold a pencil, or a crayon. All of my students are eager to learn. They are excited to come to school and learn with me. My school was built in 1986. It houses grades K-8, five of each class, roughly 1200 students.
My Project
The Big Book Easel that I am requesting would get used every single day. We read a lot in Kindergarten, especially Big Books. This easel would allow me to read the book to the students, while pointing to the words. I wouldn't have to hold the book in my hands anymore. This easel would also get used by the students too. When we have Literacy Stations, the Big Book Easel, would become one of those stations. Students will be able to point at and read the Big Books with their partner. This easel also comes with a magnetic white board. Students will have the opportunity to practice making the names, letters, and numbers, with the white board. They will also get the opportunity to use magnets on it too. This easel would be a great asset to my students education.
As mentioned above, this Big Book Easel will allow my students to read big books on their own or with a partner.
It will also allow them to practice their letters, numbers, and names with white board markers or with magnets.
