Big, Bad, Boombox: A Large Group Sing-A-Long

My students need a portable sound system that can play CDs and MP3s so we can have music to accompany our performances at locations outside the music room.

My Students

My students have become excited, exciting performers who truly enjoy performing for parents, neighbors, other students, and even themselves. The only problem is that sometimes we can't hear or accompaniment CD when we got to a remote location. Can you help us bring music to our community?

My students are aged 4-11 and they love to sing and dance for others.

The hallways of our school look like the lobby of The United Nations. Our students are from families that have recently immigrated from nearly 30 different countries around the globe. It is truly inspiring to see them work together.

My Project

Your donation will give them even more enthusiasm and confidence to perform even better than we have in the past. When the kids know that they will hear the music and the audience will hear it as well they will add an extra bit of energy to every show.

Our school is in a neighborhood that is changing rapidly.

Immigrants continue to move in and we want to help everyone feel welcome. The neighborhood school is the glue that holds a community together. That is one reason we like to perform outside of school. You can REALLY REALLY help.
