I teach a special education class for children that are 3, 4, and 5. These children have a wide range of mental and physical disabilities. The one thing that all of these children have in common, is that they all love to create things. I am running low on art supplies in my classroom. I would like to have some new art materials for the children to work with. They love to paint, color, glue, and cut. These are all activities that will help with their fine motor skills. Painting pictures to hang on our walls, allows them to feel ownership in our classroom. They also enjoy making things for their parents such as picture frames and other keepsakes. I know that these art supplies will bring great pleasure to my students. Please help these wonderful children be able to express themselves through the creation of their very own masterpieces.
