Our school is a Special Education School with 180 students who face challenges everyday. We have 13 classrooms with students ranging in age from 5 to 22. We have a wide variety of abilities at our school. We want our students to be able to do as much as they can independently. Our bicycle program was developed so our students can learn to ride a bicycle for exercise, recreation and transportation. We want our students to be able to have fun with their friends and families riding bikes. Our students tend to be overweight so riding a bicycle is a great form of exercise for them.

Our bicycle program was developed so our students can learn to ride a bike for exercise, recreation and transportation. Being able to ride independantly and look like all the other students builds self esteem.
This tricycle will significantly help my students achieve physical benefits by therapeutic reciprocal exercise for maintaining range of motion and strength.
