This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

As a pre-k teacher, I focus on my student's interests to fully invest them; with Spring in the air, my students are all about gardening. Please help me give my students brand new books to begin a garden unit in April. 'Hooking' students into meaningful learning starts with a good book.

The books in our project cart are a well-rounded list of all things gardening; from fiction books about our relationship to gardening to non-fiction books about the life cycle of plants, how gardens grow, and the importance of gardening.

These books will help me 'hook' my young learners into our new garden unit.
