Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Some of our favorite times in class have been celebrating the cultural heritage months. We had a blast learning through Hispanic Heritage Month and are preparing to enjoy Black History Month. Help us bolster out BHM section of our library. We use this section for both read-aloud and independent reading time. This helps students learn about other cultures or celebrate their own culture. In addition, it helps us learn about historical events and people in Black History and culture. Finally, as we enter a writing and research unit on activism, this will definitely help us make connections to activism!
