My Project

This project involves read aloud books to bring awareness of other cultures and lifestyles to the classroom. Expanding knowledge through reading and books will help the students grow as learners and become well rounded learners. The students come from all over the country and have so much to offer the classroom community. Leaning about different cultures through the students and then having them relate to the characters in the books will allow them to see themselves in media that they may not have before and this will allow students to be culturally aware and respectful of cultures outside their own.
