Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
We have many boys who are reluctant readers with low reading levels. The mission is to get them interested in reading by providing them high-interest low text. These students need someone in their corner helping motivate them and push them to read what they are interested in.
Help me provide a safe space for a group of boys who are struggling readers and just need to feel a part of group that will put the right books in their hands.
It is important for every child to have the opportunity to become a reader, as it's a lifelong skill.
