My Project
This summer we were able to take an unused classroom and transform it into a space designed for lunch groups, small groups and a decompression space.
Board games can easily be considered fun but also disguised as great social and emotional teaching tools!
Board games have the ability to teach adolescents so many skills. Such as perseverance, strength, determination and so much more!
This project has a variety of games that will challenge the frontal lobe and will engage students to work in pairs to achieve the desired outcome. It is so rewarding to watch students grasp a concept of pride, determination and teamwork, all while having fun. We would love to put these board games in our newly created space for our students.
