We are a Title I school of approximately 900 students, 55% of which receive free/reduced-price meals. At our school, we value student diversity and celebrate the leader in each of our students.
We are working toward creating a world-class fine arts program for our students, so they can find their voices and explore their creativity.
My Project
Our old bass xylophone is a dinosaur! She's been around since the dawn of time (or maybe it just seems that way because she was here before I started teaching?) Either way, she is OLD and falling apart at the seams! We have tried repairing her with replacement parts but at this point in her very long life, she is beyond repair. It's time to retire the old girl and put her out to pasture.
We need a new bass xylophone to replace our old one so that we can continue making music that includes low harmonies.
Bass notes are so important for rounding out an ensemble's sound; help us keep the music alive even though our bass Xylo is dying!
